That happened to me on the Carlson. Hit it kinda flat; board went up, I went down.

Me and the board went down, waaayyy down, and found a large rock on the bottom. The nose of my board hit it head on for the hardest hit I've ever taken, but it wasn't the collision that separated me from my board; it was the water still pushing behind me that ripped me clean out of my board. So basically, hit a rock, board stopped for a second, I didn't.
