Riverboarders have been invited to join in the annual Eddy Flower Vertical Challenge, a month-long competition to see who can riverboard the most vertical feet of whitewater!

The competition is not just for cool prizes and bragging rights, though - it's also for a good cause. Eddy Flower has teamed up with First Descents, an organization that "offers young adults with cancer outdoor experiences that will forever change their lives."

Face Level is stoked to be part of this event and will be providing prizes for the winning teams in the Riverboarding category. Boarders can race in the Open category or Weekend Warrior category for this year.

All the details are here on the Eddy Flower Vertical Challenge page. Teams can be from 1 to 5 competitors, and you don't have to be in the same geographic region. The only caveat is that you cannot riverboard alone - it's ok if you go with kayakers or competitors even, just go with someone else (for obvious safety reasons).
