From California to Colorado to North Carolina, we've got Riverboarding events all across the USA that will challenge you and stoke your competitive fires. Some events are deep in the mountains, and some will be on national TV.

And at the end of the year, in front of 10,000 people, one lucky riverboarder is going to be awarded a trip to Costa Rica and Team FLI sponsorship for 2009...

Face Level Industries

The 2008 Face Level Riverboarding Championship Series has been announced, with events spanning the USA and encompassing everything from easily surfable Class II waves to epic Class V gorges.

Two of the events are currently slated for television: the Gorge Games in Hood River, Oregon, where Riverboarding will be a featured sport, and Primal Quest® Montana, which will include Riverboarding as one of the required disciplines.

The Riverboarding events will include 4 disciplines: Slalom, Boardercross, Extreme Downriver, and Surfing.

Each event will award points for the top finishers, which will accumulate as the season progresses. The final Championship Weekend in Charlotte during their annual festival (with an anticipated attendence of 10,000+ people) will have a higher point value and bigger prizes, and will culminate in somebody going home with a Riverboarding trip to Costa Rica and full Team FLI sponsorship for 2009!
