Q&A With Kevin Ryan
1. Why did you choose riverboarding?
I chose riverboarding for its adventure and simplicity. It provides the adventure that I've received from other outdoor sports with less gear to haul (as compared to kayaking). I'm finding that extreme sports with less gear are a lot more appealing lately. With the riverboards I could easily hike into remote areas quicker and with significantly less weight.. I can haul my butt and riverboard overland a lot easier to repeat rapids if I like them.
2. What rivers/playspots do you like for really short trips?
The gutter (Payette River), The weir (Boise River), and the Main Payette for really short trips (1-2 hours)
3. What place would like to visit and Riverboard?
New Zealand and somewhere in South America.
